==Effect==
==Effect==
Electro Ball inflicts more damage the faster the user is compared to the target. Therefore, the larger the relative difference between the user's and target's {{stat|Speed}} stat, the greater the damage. Base power is calculated as follows:

Electro Ball inflicts damage depending on the user and target's Speed stats; the higher the user's Speed is compared to the target's, the more damage it does.  In [[Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity|Gates to Infinity]], as the {{stat|Speed}} stat does not exist, the difference between the user's [[Travel Speed]] and the target's Travel Speed affects the damage inflicted. From {{pkmn|Super Mystery Dungeon}} onward, it compares the Speed stats between the user and the target.

==={{g|UNITE}}===
{{Learnlistspecial|Electric}}
In Pokémon UNITE, Electro Ball is {{p|Pikachu}}'s first move obtained at level 4 by upgrading {{m|Thunder Shock}} into it instead of {{m|Thunder}}. The user hurls an electric orb at the targeted enemy, damaging and slowing down all enemies in a small radius around the target upon impact by paralyzing them. The move deals bonus damage based on the enemy's missing HP. At level 11, its damage is increased.

Electro Ball (Japanese: エレキボール Elecball) is a damage-dealing Electric-type move introduced in Generation V. It was TR80 in Pokémon Sword and Shield, and is TM072 in Generation IX.

Effect

Electro Ball inflicts more damage the faster the user is compared to the target.

Electro Ball's power is calculated as follows:

Target's Speed Power
More than 100%, or exactly 0 40
50.01% - 100% 60
33.34% - 50% 80
25.01% - 33.33% 120
0.01% - 25% 150

The Speed values used take all modifiers into account (including stat stages, paralysis, held items such as the Iron Ball, and Abilities such as Slush Rush).

Electro Ball has no effect on Pokémon with Bulletproof.

Electro Ball can also be used as part of a Contest Spectacular combination, with the user gaining extra three appeal points if a certain move (Agility, Autotomize, Calm Mind, Charge, Rock Polish, or Shell Smash) was used in the prior turn.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series

Electro Ball inflicts damage depending on the user and target's Speed stats; the higher the user's Speed is compared to the target's, the more damage it does. In Gates to Infinity, as the Speed stat does not exist, the difference between the user's Travel Speed and the target's Travel Speed affects the damage inflicted. From Super Mystery Dungeon onward, it compares the Speed stats between the user and the target.
