Scorching Sands (Japanese: ねっさのだいち Hot Sand Terrain) is a damage-dealing Ground-type move introduced in Generation VIII. It is TM215 in Generation IX.

Effect

Scorching Sands inflicts damage and has a 30% chance of burning the target.

Upon execution, Scorching Sands will thaw the user if frozen (even if the move fails to hit the target). Scorching Sands also thaws a frozen target hit by it.
