Misty Explosion (Japanese: ミストバースト Mist Burst) is a damage-dealing Fairy-type move introduced in Generation VIII. It is TM201 in Generation IX.

Effect

Generation VIII and IX

Misty Explosion inflicts damage and causes the user to faint. Under Misty Terrain, if the user is on the ground, Misty Explosion's base power is raised by 1.5×, making it 150.

Misty Explosion fails without causing the user to faint if a Pokémon with the Ability Damp is on the field.

If used in Raid Battles (Max and Tera), Misty Explosion fails, and the user does not faint.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Misty Explosion cannot be selected in a battle.
