Psychic Noise (Japanese: サイコノイズ Psycho Noise) is a damage-dealing Psychic-type move introduced in Generation IX. It is TM228 in Generation IX.

Effect

Psychic Noise deals damage and prevents the target from recovering HP for two turns. During these two turns, if the target uses a move with a healing property, such as Recover or Drain Punch, it will fail.

Psychic Noise is a sound-based move, and can hit Pokémon even if they are behind a substitute.

The Heal Block property of this move is considered an additional effect, and is thus blocked by Shield Dust and suppressed by Sheer Force.

Description

Games Description
SV The user attacks the target with unpleasant sound waves. For two turns, the target is prevented from recovering HP through moves, Abilities, or held items.
