Scottie forms a sync pair with Torchic during the events of Chapter 20 of the main story, where he assists a Rising Star in finding her Torchic. After successfully finding her Pokémon, the Rising Star gifts Scottie with her second Torchic.
Scottie forms a sync pair with Solgaleo during the events of The Beast That Devours the Sun which first ran from January 1 to 22, 2020, and reran from April 6 to 24, 2020, December 7, 2020, to January 4, 2021, and June 7 to July 26, 2021. During the event, Scottie teams up with Hau and Roxie to challenge and defeat Solgaleo. After multiple wins against Solgaleo, the Sunne Pokémon decides to join Scottie as a sync pair. The Beast That Devours the Sun was added to Legendary Adventures on January 24, 2022.
