Trivia

  • Rose's silhouette was present on the main story screen for the Villain Arc since its introduction on August 28, 2021. Despite this, Rose himself would not be added to the game until the beginning of the Galar chapter of the Villain Arc on July 14, 2023, 685 days later.
    • He is the only one of the villains featured in the Villain Arc not to be introduced in Pokémon Masters EX until his region's Villain Arc chapter.
  • During the Galar chapter of the Villain Arc, it is revealed that this Rose came to Pasio from a time where he has not yet caused the Darkest Day.
  • All versions of Rose use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon) and victory with them. Those Trainers include Bede, Leon, and Oleana.
  • Rose is the only character who forms a sync pair available via BP Sync Pair Voucher whose default sync pair is only available in limited-time scouts.

Origin

Rose's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon Sword and Shield. Copperajah is Rose's signature Pokémon in the core series games, where it is also capable of Gigantamaxing. Copperajah's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Shield.

Rose uses a Perrserker when battling the player in the core series games. Perrserker's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Sword.
