Shauna (Japanese: サナ Sana) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. She forms a sync pair with Chesnaught. This sync pair was first made available on January 16, 2023. This pair can be raised to 6★ EX from the day it was released.
Shauna in her Special Costume forms a sync pair with her Klefki. This pair can be obtained through a limited Costume sync pair scout and was first made available on April 2, 2023. This pair can also be raised to 6★ EX since its release.

- Shauna is the first rival in Pokémon Masters EX to form a sync pair with a Grass-type starter Pokémon.
- All versions of Shauna use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers include Calem, Serena, Clemont, and Professor Sycamore.
- Shauna also uses special voice-over lines upon winning a battle with Calem or Serena in the same team.
- Shauna has the shortest gap between her debut (January 16, 2023) and obtaining an alternate sync pair (April 2, 2023), totaling 76 days.
Origin
Shauna's design is based on her appearance in Pokémon X and Y. Chesnaught is the final form of Chespin, one of the starter Pokémon of Kalos in the core series games. Chesnaught is Shauna's signature Pokémon if the player chooses Fennekin as their starter Pokémon in the Kalos-based core series games. Chesnaught's Dex entry comes from Pokémon X.
Shauna's Special Costume seems to be inspired by Dr. John Watson, the partner of Detective Sherlock Holmes from The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. Shauna is not seen owning a Klefki outside this game. Klefki's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
