Malva (Japanese: パキラ Pachira) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. She forms a sync pair with Talonflame. This pair can be obtained through the sync pair scout beginning on September 12, 2024. This pair can be raised to 6★ EX since it first released.

Trivia

• Malva & Talonflame are the first sync pair with the Sprint role to be made available in the general sync pair scout.
• Malva was the last Elite Four member from the first seven generations to become playable in the game.
  • Of all Elite Four sync pairs, she is the only one whose default sync pair has a generic sync move animation instead of a unique sync move animation.
• All versions of Malva use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon) and victory with them. Those Trainers include Diantha, Lysandre, and Looker.

Origin

Malva's design is based on her appearance in Pokémon X and Y. Talonflame is Malva's signature Pokémon in the core series games. Talonflame's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
