Trivia

  • All versions of Clavell use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon) and victory with them. Those Trainers include Nemona, Arven, Penny, Giacomo, Eri, Geeta, and Jacq.
  • Clavell, Giacomo, and Jacq are the only Generation IX characters to not feature in the splash screen or title screen art for their respective debut events.

Origin

Clavell's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon Scarlet. Quaquaval is Clavell's signature Pokémon if the player chooses Fuecoco as their first partner Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Quaquaval's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Violet.
