Solo event

Solo events^{[note 1]} (Japanese: ソロバトルイベント Solo Battle Event) are a type of limited-time event in Pokémon Masters EX. As the name suggests, these events feature only single-player battles. They can focus on a specific type or region, or particular sync pairs or theme skills.

Unlike story events, solo events place more emphasis on the battles than the story, with most solo events containing only one or two story areas. In almost all solo events, players earn event vouchers by completing single-player battles, which can be used to exchange for items in the shop. In addition, most solo events have a story area that can only be unlocked by obtaining a certain number of event vouchers.

The event Flying Types Incoming! did not feature an exchange shop, with the only rewards available being completion, battle, and event mission rewards. Fashion Week! also did not feature an exchange shop, with the rewards coming from event missions that were added daily.

Trivia

Almost all solo event banners have a blue exclamation mark graphic in the background to distinguish them from other types of event banners. The only solo event banners that do not have this graphic are Morty's Secret Ghost Training, Mushroom Mania, Special Day with the Guys, and Let's Have a Fruitful Battle!.
- Despite not being a solo event, the story event Hearts United includes this same graphic on its banner.
