- All versions of Skyla use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers include Elesa, Caitlin, and Winona.
- Skyla also uses special voice-over lines upon winning a battle with Elesa or Caitlin in the same team.
- Skyla is the first Trainer able to be invited to the Trainer Lodge to not have a base potential of 5★.
Origin
Skyla's design is based on her appearance in Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2. Swanna is Skyla's signature Pokémon in the core series games. Swanna's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.
Skyla uses an Unfezant on her team during her Gym battle in Pokémon Black and White, and during the Pokémon World Tournament in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. Unfezant's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Black.
Skyla is not seen to own a Togekiss outside this game. Togekiss's Dex entry comes from Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver.
While Skyla is not seen owning a Tornadus outside this game, it was introduced in Black and White, as she was. Tornadus's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.
Skyla uses a Jumpluff on her team at the Pokémon World Tournament in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. Jumpluff's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.
