Trivia
- Excluding Scottie and Bettie, Erika was the first Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX to form more than three playable sync pairs, as well as the first to form three tech sync pairs.
- Possibly as a reference to Sygna Suit Erika, Erika was revealed to own a Leafeon in the Pokémon Journeys: The Series episode Suffering the Flings and Arrows!.
- Notably, in that episode, Erika appears in the outfit she wears in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, which is the same outfit that she wears by default in Pokémon Masters EX.
- Erika (Palentine's 2025) & Lurantis's buddy move Profusion of Flowers Energy Ball has the longest move description of any move in Pokémon Masters EX.
- All versions of Erika use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon) and victory with them. Those Trainers include Clair and Jasmine.
Origin
Erika's design is based on her appearance in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen. Vileplume is Erika's signature Pokémon in the core series games, being her highest-level Pokémon in the Kanto-based games, excluding Pokémon Yellow. Vileplume's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ruby.
Erika uses Tangela during her Gym battle with the player in the Kanto-based core series games. Tangela's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.
Erika does not own a Comfey outside this game. Comfey's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
Erika does not own a Leafeon in any other game, though it is a Grass type, which Erika specializes in. Leafeon's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
Erika does not own a Lurantis outside this game, though it is a Grass type, which Erika specializes in. Lurantis's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
