In addition, Lyra & Vaporeon, Kris & Jolteon, and Lucas & Flareon received unlockable EX roles in conjunction with these scouts.
In this run, all the Vee-ctorious with You! battles were removed. The Vee-ctorious with Everyone! battle returned, awarding Frame: No. 44 and a single Eevee Celebration Voucher. If the player had already obtained this photo frame, it was automatically converted to a 3★ Power-Up. Eevee Celebration Vouchers could be exchanged in the shop for lucky cookies exclusive to the nine Eevee Day variety sync pairs. All four story areas from the previous run were available from the start.
An Eevee Celebration Ticket A was available as a log-in bonus alongside this event, which could be used in the Eevee Day Celebration Ticket Scout A to scout Hilda & Leafeon, Elio & Espeon, Lyra & Vaporeon, or Lucas & Flareon.

Additionally, limited-time Gym missions were available, rewarding players for completing the same battle a certain number of times. Players could earn Gems by completing solo missions and Gym Scout Tickets A by completing group missions.
Plot
Professor Oak is holding a lecture on Eevee for Trainers who have one as a partner Pokémon. Kris, Lyra, and Lucas attend with their Jolteon, Vaporeon, and Flareon, respectively, to demonstrate some of the ways Eevee can evolve. After the lecture, Professor Oak asks them why they chose to evolve their Eevee the way they did. Lucas and Lyra say that they each evolved their Eevee into the Evolution that matched the type of a teammate they admired, while Kris says that she wanted a fast Pokémon to help her take on other speedy Pokémon she encountered on her journey. Professor Oak then comments that there's always an interesting history behind people and Pokémon.
Elsewhere, the team of Elio and Espeon, the player character and Solgaleo, and Tate and Solrock are battling the team of Selene and Umbreon, Lillie and Lunala, and Liza and Lunatone. Elio's team wins, which Selene hypothesizes could be because they were battling at sunset, so their Pokémon were powered up by the sun. They decide to have another battle when the moon comes out. In the meantime, Lillie asks where Elio and Selene got their Espeon and Umbreon. Selene says that they both met them as Eevee near Paniola Town, and Elio gets nostalgic about the Tauros raised on Paniola Ranch. The sun finally sets, so the teams have another battle, with the Pokémon on Selene's team powered up by the moon.
In the city, Hilda, Hilbert, and Calem conclude a battle with their Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon, respectively. The three take turns complimenting each other's partner Pokémon and how each has their own distinct personality traits.

| (City; Professor Oak, Lucas, Lyra, and Kris are standing in front of a crowd) | |
| In the city, Professor Oak held a lecture for Trainers who have Eevee as partner Pokémon. | |
| (The crowd interacts with Kris's Jolteon, Lyra's Vaporeon, and Lucas's Flareon) | |
| Professor Oak | Everyone, get along with your Eevee! |
| (Kris, Lyra, and Lucas wave to the crowd as everyone disperses) | |
| Professor Oak | Thank you all for coming as well! Everyone was happy to see how Eevee evolve. |
| Lucas | Not at all, Professor Oak. I'm glad we could help! |
| Kris | We learned a lot from the lecture, too! |
| Lyra | It seems like Vaporeon and the others are happy to play with everyone, too. |
| Professor Oak | By the way, why did you all want your Eevee to evolve the way they did? |
| Lucas | Well, in my case... When Flareon was an Eevee, it seemed like he admired my Infernape... so I thought Flareon was the best choice for him. |
| Lyra | Same for me! My Eevee was close friends with Marill. She's really helpful when we go on adventures near water. |
| Kris | In my case, I struggled a lot with fast Pokémon when I was traveling around Johto. So I thought if my Eevee became Jolteon, she could be really reliable. Jolteon was happy to do so, too! |
| Professor Oak | Ah! I see, I see! |
| (Lucas and Flareon cheer; Lyra and Vaporeon cheer; Kris and Jolteon cheer) | |
| Professor Oak | Hmm... There's always an interesting history behind people and Pokémon! |

| (Mountain at sunset; Elio and Espeon, the player and Solgaleo, and Tate and Solrock are battling Selene and Umbreon, Lillie and Lunala, and Liza and Lunatone) | |
| Elio | Yeah! Team Sun wins! |
| Lillie | Oh... They were so strong... |
| Selene | I agree... Is it because they gained energy from the sun? |
| (The group watches Solgaleo, Lunala, Solrock, and Lunatone interact) | |
| Selene | Let's battle again when the moon comes out! |
| Elio | Yeah, for sure! |
| Tate | The sun and the moon... |
| Liza | ...Have mysterious powers! |
| Selene | Mysterious powers, huh? |
| Lillie | It reminds of the time Nebby evolved... |
| Elio | Maybe Eevee evolve by receiving mysterious powers from the sun and the moon. |
| Lillie | By the way... Where did you two meet Espeon and Umbreon? |
| Selene | We met them near Paniola Town on Akala Island when they were still Eevee! They evolved while we were taking on the island challenge! |
| (Espeon and Umbreon cry happily) | |
| Elio | Ahhh, Paniola Town... When I close my eyes, it all comes back to me... I can hear the Tauros now... |
| (A Tauros cries out; a group of three Tauros are watching them) | |
| Tate | Tauros? |
| Liza | Why's that? |
| Elio | There's a ranch near Paniola Town that raises a bunch of them. |
| Lillie | Oh! The sun's starting to set! It's almost nighttime! |
| Selene | Ooh! I wonder if the moon will come out! |
| Liza | Selene! Lillie! Let's definitely win this time! |
| Selene | Yeah! |
| Tate | We'll put in our all too, even without the sun's powers! |
| Elio | That's right! Let's show them that we can still shine brightly! |
| (Nighttime; the teams battle again while the Tauros watch) | |
| Selene | Go, Umbreon! |
| (Umbreon, Lunala, and Lunatone deal a heavy blow to the others) | |
- Different Evolutions and Natures?
| Name | Text |
|---|---|
| (City; Hilbert, Hilda, and Calem are standing with each other) | |
| Hilda | Well done, everyone! It felt great to go all out! I was surprised by your Sylveon, Calem. He was so eager to battle! |
| Calem | Yeah, my Sylveon may look cute, but he's actually really aggressive. So much so, in fact, that he makes Pokémon like Greninja look relatively tame... |
| Hilbert | In contrast, your Leafeon was amazingly level-headed, Hilda! Even though folks say Pokémon take after their Trainers... |
| Hilda | Huh?! Just what are you trying to say?! |
| Hilbert | Ah, never mind! Forget about it. |
| Calem | I do see some similarities between you and Glaceon, though, Hilbert. |
| Hilbert | Huh? Really? |
| Calem | Yeah, like the serious look in your eyes when you two attack with an Ice-type move... But of course, that does make it easier to predict when you're about to use a powerful attack. |
| Hilda | Ahaha! I know, right?! |
| Hilbert | Wow, really? I never realized. |
| Calem | At any rate, we each seem to draw out our partner's unique traits in our own way! |
| Hilda | That's right! What we get out of Eevee's different Evolutions is up to us! |
| Hilbert | I hope we can keep working well together with our partners! |
| (All three laugh) | |
Trivia
- Rachel & Umbreon were the only sync pair formed with one of Eevee's Evolutions at the time of this event's first run that did not receive a reward bonus in it.
