The 4.5 Year Celebration! (Japanese: 4.5周年記念！ 4.5 Anniversary!), subtitled Special Co-op Battle! (Japanese: 特別マルチバトル！ Special Multi Battle!) was a limited-time event in Pokémon Masters EX celebrating its four-and-a-half year anniversary. It featured a co-op battle that could be challenged once per day, but players could not use the "Create Your Own Team" option to challenge this battle. Players received 100 Gems and an item as a reward for completing the battle each day, with the item reward changing each day. The item rewards included Move Candy Coins of each role, Roll Cake Coins of each role, 5★ Scout Tickets, and 5★ Power-Ups.
