Trivia
* Excluding potentially Scottie and Bettie, Marnie is the first Trainer to form four tech sync pairs.
* All versions of Marnie use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon) and victory with them. Those Trainers include Victor, Gloria, Hop, Bede, and Piers.
* In her Champion outfit's sync pair story, Marnie reveals she first met Moltres on the Isle of Armor, similar to how it's encountered in Sword and Shield.
Origin
Marnie's design is based on her appearance in Sword and Shield. Morpeko is one of Marnie's main Pokémon in the core series games. Full Belly Mode Morpeko's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Shield. Hangry Mode Morpeko's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Sword.
Toxicroak is a Pokémon that Marnie uses to battle the player in the core series games. Toxicroak's Dex entry comes from Platinum.
Grimmsnarl is Marnie's other main Pokémon in the core series games. Grimmsnarl's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Sword.
Marnie does not own a Mawile outside this game. Mawile's Dex entry comes from Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.
Marnie does not own a Galarian Moltres outside this game. Moltres's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Shield.

Description This Trainer from Spikemuth in the Galar region hopes to become Champion to liven up her hometown. Her battle tactics and cute appearance have earned her many fans.

Marnie (Japanese: マリィ Mary) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. She forms a sync pair with Morpeko. The sync pair can be obtained through a limited sync pair scout, and was first available on February 26, 2021. This pair is capable of being upgraded to Masters EX star.png 6★ EX from when it was first released.

Marnie is also available in her summer attire, where she forms a sync pair with Grimmsnarl. The sync pair could be obtained through a limited-time seasonal sync pair scout. Like Morpeko, this pair has been able to upgrade to Masters EX star.png 6★ EX since release.

Marnie is also available in her Palentine's attire partnered alongside Mawile, which is capable of Mega Evolving. The pair could be obtained through a limited-time seasonal sync pair scout and was first available on January 31, 2022. This pair is also capable of being upgraded to Masters EX star.png 6★ EX from when the pair was first released.

Marnie also forms a sync pair with her Toxicroak. This pair can be obtained by reaching Friendship Level 100 with Marnie in the Trainer Lodge. This pair could be raised to Masters EX star.png 6★ EX beginning on March 29, 2023, though this pair lacks an EX style.

Marnie in her Neo Champion attire forms a sync pair with her Galarian Moltres. This pair was first made available through a limited-time Master Fair scout beginning on February 28, 2023. This pair could also be raised to Masters EX star.png 6★ EX since it released.
