Scottie can also form sync pairs with a number of Pokémon hatched from Eggs. He is first gifted an Egg from Professor Bellis, when she recruits Scottie in helping research the sync pair bond formed between Trainers and Eggs. The player is allowed to choose between Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle. These sync pairs are listed in the Dex and their details are shown below. Their Dex entry is from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, with the exception of Bulbasaur whose Dex entry is from Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald.
The list of all other Pokémon that can be hatched from Eggs can be found here.
There is a bud on this Pokémon's back. To support its weight, Ivysaur's legs and trunk grow thick and strong. If it starts spending more time lying in the sunlight, it's a sign that the bud will bloom into a large flower soon.
There is a large flower on Venusaur's back. The flower is said to take on vivid colors if it gets plenty of nutrition and sunlight. The flower's aroma soothes the emotions of people.
The user gets ready to attack. Using this move again will cause the user to leave this posture, then attack. No other actions can be taken while ready to attack. The preparation period is skipped when the weather is sunny, and the user will attack right away.
The flame that burns at the tip of its tail is an indication of its emotions. The flame wavers when Charmander is enjoying itself. If the Pokémon becomes enraged, the flame burns fiercely.
Charmeleon mercilessly destroys its foes using its sharp claws. If it encounters a strong foe, it turns aggressive. In this excited state, the flame at the tip of its tail flares with a bluish white color.
Charizard flies around the sky in search of powerful opponents. It breathes fire of such great heat that it melts anything. However, it never turns its fiery breath on any opponent weaker than itself.
Squirtle's shell is not merely used for protection. The shell's rounded shape and the grooves on its surface help minimize resistance in water, enabling this Pokémon to swim at high speeds.
Its tail is large and covered with a rich, thick fur. The tail becomes increasingly deeper in color as Wartortle ages. The scratches on its shell are evidence of this Pokémon's toughness as a battler.
Blastoise has water spouts that protrude from its shell. The water spouts are very accurate. They can shoot bullets of water with enough accuracy to strike empty cans from a distance of over 160 feet.
Scottie could form a sync pair with Solgaleo during the legendary eventThe Beast That Devours the Sun. Starting January 24, 2022, he can form a sync pair with Solgaleo during the Legendary Adventures of the same name.
Scottie can form a sync pair with Regirock or Cobalion by exchanging a BP Sync Pair Super Voucher in the shop, beginning on May 27, 2021.
Scottie can form a sync pair with Mesprit by exchanging a BP Sync Pair Super Voucher in the shop, beginning on August 28, 2022.
Scottie can form a sync pair with Registeel by exchanging a BP Sync Pair Super Voucher in the shop, beginning on August 28, 2023.
Pikachu is Scottie's only known Pokémon. Alongside Brock's Onix and Rosa's Snivy, it battled Erika's Vileplume, as well as a Beauty's Lotad and a Lass's Whimsicott. Despite the opposing Pokémon initially having the upper hand, Pikachu quickly defeated them with its Thunder attack.
Scottie & Solgaleo have the largest gap of any initial 5★ character between their release (January 1, 2020) and their gaining the ability to be raised to 6★ EX (April 28, 2023), at 1214 days.
