Rebel Clash Blisters

The Rebel Clash expansion brought with it more blister packs on May 1, 2020. Single Pack Blisters included either a promotional Mantine or Noctowl card, while Three Pack Blisters contained either Rayquaza or Duraludon promotional cards. Both products included one of a number of possible coins, though the Lycanroc coin included differed from the official distributor images.

Another pair of blisters became available in early May at Target stores. Like previous Premium Checklane Blisters, these products focus on three-card evolutionary families, containing either the Gengar line or Galarian Obstagoon line. Each blister also comes with one booster pack and a Lucario coin. Stage 1 Blisters featuring the Boltund and Galarian Perrserker families were also quietly released at Target stores in mid-May. Unlike prior products, the highest Stage Evolution card was not included as a Cosmos Holofoil variant in any of the Target-exclsuive blisters, instead featuring the standard in-set Line Holofoil treatment and therefore no different to those found in booster packs.

Celebrating the first year of the Sword & Shield Series, the high-quality Sword & Shield Ultra-Premium Collection—Zacian & Zamazenta focuses on the Legendary Warrior Pokémon Zacian and Zamazenta. The two adorn various facets of the packaging and are featured on gold-colored Full Art SWSH Black Star Promos. The box is secured shut with a gold foil-lined fold-out section embedded with magnets. Its interior includes multiple drawers that can be used to store cards and accessories. Each box comes with twelve metal damage-counter dice, a pair of metal coins featuring Zacian and Zamazenta, a set of metal Special Condition markers, 130 sleeves (65 featuring Zacian and 65 featuring Zamazenta), nine card dividers, a TCG rulebook, and a Sword & Shield Series player's guide. The box also includes 16 booster packs—four each from Sword & Shield, Rebel Clash, Darkness Ablaze, and Vivid Voltage—as well as a pair of code cards for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online. The intended launch date of this product was November 20, 2020 and while orders for some retailers were fulfilled (primarily those in North America), many orders were pushed into 2021 due to quality control issues. These issues included faults in accessory packaging and boxes with incorrect drawer designs.

Venusaur & Blastoise V Battle Decks

Main article: V Battle Deck—Venusaur vs Blastoise (TCG)

The V Battle Decks were a new line of product launched on February 5, 2021 to cater for beginners to the TCG, effectively replacing the long-standing Theme Decks that usually accompanied main expansions. The first V Battle Decks take inspiration from the Japanese Venusaur & Blastoise VMAX Starter Sets and consist of the Venusaur V Battle Deck and the Blastoise V Battle Deck, featuring the eponymous Pokémon as Pokémon V. The contents of these decks are the same as Theme Decks available during the Sword & Shield Series, mostly consisting of reprints from recent expansions, and including damage counters, a single-player playmat, a deck box, a rules booklet, a Quick Guide, reference cards, a collectible coin, and a code card for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online.
