Release information

This card was included in the Astral Radiance expansion with artwork by nagimiso, first released in the Japanese Space Juggler expansion. A Cosmos Holofoil version of the Astral Radiance print was available in the Fall 2022 Collector Chest from November 18, 2022. In Japan, it was reprinted as a Holofoil S-P Promotional card and was one of the cards participants received upon entry into regional Champion's League events held during the 2022-2023 season. These included the 2023 Yokohama Champion's League, held at the Pacifico Yokohama on September 17 and 18, 2022[1] and the 2023 Kyoto Champion's League, held at the Kyoto Pulse Plaza on December 10 and 11, 2022.[2]

The Master League tournaments at each Champion's League meeting were livestreamed on video platforms Niconico and YouTube, during which prizes could be won through Twitter campaigns. People wishing to enter either competition were required to follow the Twitter accounts of the official Pokémon Card Channel and its presenters Raichu Umekawa, Nanapple, Kucheat Takeuchi, and Yopifoot, and tweet messages of support. Those doing so during the broadcast of the Yokohama Master League tournament with the hashtag #ポケカCL2023横浜, Pokéca CL2023 Yokohama, and the broadcast of the Kyoto Master League tournament with the hashtag #ポケカCL2023京都, Pokéca CL2023 Kyoto, were entered into prize lotteries. Twenty winners were selected from each draw, each of which received a copy of the Hisuian Voltorb participant promo and one random Energy participant promo.[3][4]

It was reprinted, alongside a Galarian Gallery holo rare card with artwork by HYOGONOSUKE, in the Japanese VSTAR Universe subset. The Galarian Gallery holo rare print was subsequently released outside Asia in the special Crown Zenith expansion.
