Information

Champion's Path is a special expansion of the Sword & Shield Series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game and was first available from September 25, 2020. Similar to other special expansions, such as Generations and Shining Legends, Champion's Path booster packs could not be purchased separately and instead, were available exclusively in various set-related products. Champion's Path is composed of cards from the Japanese Infinity Zone expansion as well as the Explosive Walker and Legendary Heartbeat subsets, Charizard & Grimmsnarl VMAX Starter Sets, and the V Starter Decks. The expansion also includes cards that were previously Japanese-exclusive promos, among which is a Secret Rainbow Rare print of Charizard VMAX originally released as a Limited format tournament prize. Another Secret card featuring Shiny Charizard V was a surprise inclusion ahead of its debut in the Japanese Shiny Star V subset. The presence of these two cards saw a large demand for Champion's Path products, prompting Play! Pokémon to issue a statement regarding additional stock[1].
