Pokémon TCG: Shining Legends (Japanese: 強化拡張パック ひかる伝説Strength Expansion Pack Shining Legends) is a special expansion of cards from the Sun & Moon Series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. It was released as the fourth subset from the Sun & Moon Era of the Pokémon Card Game in Japan.
In each region, a handful of Pokémon stand apart as creatures of heroic stories and wild adventures: Zekrom, Latios, Mewtwo-GX, Entei-GX. Shining Legends is a special expansion of the Sun & Moon Series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. In Japan, it was released as Shining Legends, the fourth subset in the Pokémon Card Game Sun & Moon Era. It was considered as an enhancement of the third Sun & Moon Era main expansion, To Have Seen the Battle Rainbow and Darkness that Consumes Light.
Unlike regular expansions, Shining Legends booster packs could not be purchased individually from booster boxes. Instead, they were only made available in various set-related merchandise, the first of which was released on October 6, 2017. Each booster pack contained 11 cards, with 2 guaranteed foil cards.
The Japanese subset was released on July 15, 2017 to coincide with the twentieth Pokémon movie and included several Legendary and Mythical Pokémon that were featured in all the Pokémon movies released at the time.
