This card was released as a Cosmos Holofoil SWSH Black Star Promo and was available in the Evolving Skies Three Pack Blisters from August 27, 2021. In Japan, it was released as a Line Holofoil S-P Promotional card and was available as an insert in the June 2021 issue of CoroCoro Ichiban!, released on April 21, 2021. The Japanese print features the CoroCoro Ichiban! logo in the bottom right corner of the artwork.
