Swagger (Japanese: いばる Swagger) is a non-damaging Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation II.
Effect
Swagger raises the target's Attack two stages and confuses it. Should the target already be confused, Swagger will still raise its Attack. Pokémon with the ability Own Tempo are immune to the side effect. Because the target's Attack increases, they will receive more damage if they hurt themselves.

- In Generation V, some notable Pokémon that capable of learning Swagger through breeding from previous generation, now are unable to do so. This is probably due to infinite usage of TMs on that generation.
