Your sig

I know it's probably been a while since your last visit, but Bulbapedia no longer allows images in signatures. I think it's bandwith issues or something. It's all in here: Signature policy. --ケンジガール 20:52, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

Would it be possible if only slightly inconvenient to test all the alternate forms (Unown, Deoxys, Burmy, Wormadam, Shellos, Gastrodon, Rotom, Giratina, Shaymin, and Arceus.--MisterE13 01:22, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
Giratina-A is tough with footprints and Giratina-O is tough without footprints. Shaymin, Burmy, Wormadam, Shellos, Gastrodon and Rotom all stay the same. Myles (talk - contrib) 02:20, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
I just added Quilava and the Dr. Footstep list appears to be complete. --Swampertrox (bleh) 22:56, 22 October 2009 (UTC)
Fantastic! Thanks for your help, everyone. Bikini Miltank 23:01, 22 October 2009 (UTC)
I can help with Deoxys' forms. Turtwig A Contributions Talk 23:02, 22 October 2009 (UTC)
I'm guessing that they would all be the same, but I'd be grateful if you could double-check it. Bikini Miltank 23:04, 22 October 2009 (UTC)
I'll check Rotom and Shaymin as soon as I have a chance, they would be most likely to differ in my opinion. --Swampertrox (bleh) 23:19, 22 October 2009 (UTC)
All of Deoxys' forms are the same. That leaves Unown and Arceus as the ones who haven't been checked yet. Turtwig A Contributions Talk 23:25, 22 October 2009 (UTC)
All Rotom and Shaymin formes are the same. --Swampertrox (bleh) 12:00, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
At least Unown R is silent. Don't know about the rest. Orange 05:52, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

Wanted pages

Numbers 991 to 994 on the Wanted pages are caused by you and your templates. They must be removed from your templates, because they aren't something that should be created. MaverickNate 14:21, 11 August 2010 (UTC)

That's odd... I can't figure out how those links are being generated. I'll have a closer look once I'm back home. Bikini Miltank 14:29, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
Ah, bollocks. It seems to be coming from the prevoMS template, which uses #ifexist. There's apparently a bug with #ifexist that causes entries to appear in Wanted Pages. This kind of stuff is a bit beyond me, but I'll track down SnorlaxMonster and find a workaround for this problem. Bikini Miltank 15:22, 11 August 2010 (UTC)

Kanto Grass

Just so you know the reason why I put in the (k) coding was that it said so here.-Tyler53841 18:51, 22 August 2010 (UTC)

Also a problem I encountered last night is that the percentage must be placed in all three areas for it to work. The (all=) coding will not change the picture coding. -Tyler53841 18:55, 22 August 2010 (UTC)
Thanks, I'll finish off Hoenn and then handle the Sevii Islands before moving on to Sinnoh. -Tyler53841 19:07, 22 August 2010 (UTC)

Got the code from TTEchidna on the forums through a private message. Enter (11=k) and it will work for all the Generation II templates that need this. -Tyler53841 04:46, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

Just to let you know I finished Sinnoh today on the template upgrades, so only Kanto and Johto are left. Thanks for the help and I am glad I was able to give you some assistance. -Tyler53841 05:48, 28 August 2010 (UTC)

Movelists

I've noticed that when you update them, you tend to be changing the correct spelling of moves, such as Sand-Attack to Sand-attack, and SonicBoom to Sonicboom, as well as setting the power of moves like Spit Up to 1 instead of —. Here is an example. Is there any particular reason that you are doing this? --SnorlaxMonster 08:31, 18 September 2010 (UTC)

New Move Attack Powers

Care to update it on here so that others know the full extent of the changes? Thanks. ht14 03:43, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

Prior evolution learnsets

I noticed this when looking at Poliwrath's. Wouldn't you be able to get a Generation II Poliwrath to know Amnesia by trading forward the Poliwag from Generation I that is listed here? Same goes for trading back a Poliwag that knows Growth, Kiss, and Body Slam to the Generation I games. Then, your generation I Poliwrath could know these.* MaverickNate 17:03, 21 February 2011 (UTC)

You're quite right, this is indeed possible. This kind of cross-gen trading famously allowed you to get a Poliwrath with both Mind Reader and Fissure, for example. While I'm not going to the extent of listing all of this in a single table, the new tables do simplify the process of planning cross-generational movesets somewhat: if you're on Poliwrath's Gen II page, you're now just one click away from knowing it can have Amnesia legally, whereas previously you'd need to go back to Gen I, then check it's prevos individually.
We did briefly consider including cross-generational moves in the tables, but came to the conclusion that that's what the links in the top right corner of each table are for. Bikini Miltank 17:14, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
When you say "we," who are you talking about? I think that we should list moves by trading somewhere, instead of having it separated on multiple pages. Our intent is to list the moves Pokémon can know, which should include trading. I wouldn't mind helping out. MaverickNate 19:34, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
Honestly, I don't remember specifics, because the details of these tables were hammered out over six months ago, and I've been waiting all of this time to implement them. A separate cross-gen moves table could be useful thing to have, though. Bikini Miltank 22:06, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
Not sure where to suggest (you are the one, who made this template, right?) but shouldn't moves, that Pokemon can learn naturally be excluded from preevolist? I noticed it on Volcanora's page: for example it can learn Bug Buzz by leveling and Nitro Charge via TM. — ∀ЫъГѣTalk page 08:10, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

Small thing

A page was nominated for deletion a few hours ago. If you can could you please check it out? -Tyler53841 22:36, 1 March 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, it looks like it needs to go, but sadly my awesome powers don't extend to deleting pages. I'll point one of the higher-ups to it when they get on later tonight. Bikini Miltank 22:48, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
Fortunately I've informed Maverick Nate. -Tyler53841 00:00, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
If you get the change go to the Gym Leader page and update the Sprite Link's whose pictures are currently down since that page is protected. -Tyler53841 00:11, 2 March 2011 (UTC)

One last thing is that if you wish could you handle the Generation V Pokémon pages that are still protected. I am only making this request because it would be efficient to get those out of the way. -Tyler53841 19:34, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

Need some editing help

Hi. I kinda have a problem. So, let's say I try using the {{DL}} template for Lorelei's Jynx in the manga: {{DL|Lorelei|Jynx}}. But that would take me to the anime Lorelei's Jynx instead of the manga Lorelei's Jynx because it's the first one on the page. Could you help me with that? Thanks.

other languages

I see we finally have a template. Cool, but why aren't you including the periods? Especially when it's actually a complete sentence, like Golduck's Chinese entries. Zurqoxn 14:38, 4 June 2012 (UTC)

Japanese entries

I see you can write them, perhaps can you write Zubat's and Golbat's entries? (Golbat is wild in Dreamyard, Dragonspiral Tower... and well, place above Rebirth Mountain... I have no clue what is that, probably neither you. Marked +-+-+ (talk) 17:02, 27 June 2012 (UTC) PS. Playing White 2.
