DL is a shorthand for Direct Link.

This template generates a direct link, which jumps to a specific section of a given page.

The displayed text will use the name of the section by default. Optionally, the displayed text can be customized.

Usage

Template fields

  • field 1 (page) - The name of the page you want to link to.
  • field 2 (section) - The name of the section you want to link to. This is what the link will appear as in text.
    • Note: If multiple sections have the same name, put a space and a number after the section name. For example, Raihan's page has multiple sections titled "Pokémon". To link to the first one, use "Pokémon". For the second one, use "Pokémon 2", for the third use "Pokémon 3", etc.
  • field 3 (display) (optional) - Customize the displayed text of the link.

Standard use

Pokémon Legends: Arceus has a large {{DL|Pokémon Legends: Arceus|Overworld}}.

Customized display text

Multiple sections with the same name

Raihan's Pokémon in the {{DL|Raihan|Pokémon|core series games}}, {{DL|Raihan|Pokémon 2|Journeys anime series}}, and {{DL|Raihan|Pokémon 3|Twilight Wings}} are slightly different from each other.
