Candice (Japanese: スズナ Suzuna) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. She forms a sync pair with Abomasnow. This sync pair was first made available since the game's release. The pair's potential can be upgraded to from December 25, 2021, which unlocks Candice's EX style.

Candice also forms a sync pair with her Candice. This pair can be obtained by exchaning a Battle Point and was first made available on August 28, 2022. This pair could be raised to beginning on March 29, 2023, though this pair lacks an EX style.

Candice in her Palentine's 2024 attire forms a sync pair with Galarian Darmanitan, which is capable of changing between its Darmanitan. This pair is available through a seasonal sync pair scout and was first made available on February 11, 2024. This pair can be raised to since it first released.

Description This passionate Gym Leader has a fixation on focus. However, she sometimes wonders if she should play it cooler as an Ice-type Pokémon user.

Candice (Japanese: スズナ Suzuna) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. She forms a sync pair with Abomasnow. This sync pair was first made available since the game's release. The pair's potential can be upgraded to Masters EX star.png 6★ EX from December 25, 2021, which unlocks Candice's EX style.

Candice also forms a sync pair with her Froslass. This pair can be obtained by exchaning a BP Sync Pair Voucher and was first made available on August 28, 2022. This pair could be raised to Masters EX star.png 6★ EX beginning on March 29, 2023, though this pair lacks an EX style.

Candice in her Palentine's 2024 attire forms a sync pair with Galarian Darmanitan, which is capable of changing between its Standard Mode and Zen Mode. This pair is available through a seasonal sync pair scout and was first made available on February 11, 2024. This pair can be raised to Masters EX star.png 6★ EX since it first released.

Trivia

  • Candice was the first scout-exclusive 3★ sync pair to receive the ability to be raised to   6★ EX.
  • Brycen, Sophocles, and Candice were the first scout-exclusive, non-5★ sync pairs to get their sync grids expanded.
  • In the Victor's Cooking Class! story event, and as noted in her character description, it is revealed that Candice received her Darmanitan as an Egg from Melony.
  • All versions of Candice use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers include Gardenia, Maylene, and Melony.
    • Candice also uses special voice-over lines upon winning a battle with Gardenia or Melony on the same team.

Origin

Candice's design is based on her appearance in Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. Abomasnow is Candice's signature Pokémon in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. Abomasnow's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Pearl.

Froslass is Candice's signature Pokémon in Pokémon Platinum, Black 2, and White 2. She also uses Froslass in rematches in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Froslass's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.

Candice is not seen owning a Galarian Darmanitan outside this game. Darmanitan's Dex entries come from Pokémon Shield.
