Festive Sun and Moon (Japanese: 祭日を祝う月と太陽 Festive Moon and Sun) was a story event in Pokémon Masters EX. It was focused on the sync pair Lillie (Anniversary 2024) & Solgaleo.

This event featured event points, a currency that players could earn by completing battles. Players received rewards based on the number of points accumulated, including teaming up with Lillie (Anniversary 2024) & Solgaleo, items to power up Lillie (Anniversary 2024) & Solgaleo, and medals. All battles could be challenged an unlimited number of times except Daily Extreme Battle 1, which could only be challenged once per day.

The player could battle using Lillie (Anniversary 2024) & Solgaleo to obtain +0.6× bonus points; Arc Suit Cynthia & Garchomp, Arc Suit Steven & Metagross, or Arc Suit Lance & Dragonite to obtain +0.4× bonus points; and any unlisted sync pairs with the Steel or Seasonal Outfit theme skills to obtain +0.2× bonus points.

Players could earn a special event title by completion the event mission for this event.

A special log-in bonus was available alongside this event, which gave players two Custom ★ Power-Ups for Lillie (Anniversary 2024) & Solgaleo upon logging in for the first time each day for 10 days. This enabled players to raise Lillie (Anniversary 2024) & Solgaleo to 6★ EX.

Lusamine	When you called me for help, Lillie, I certainly wasn't expecting this. They say the intense light Solgaleo radiates from its body can make the darkest of nights as bright as midday... That power must be the reason why night won't fall.
(Solgaleo cries out)
N	It says it feels uneasy because it someone suddenly brought it here. It's confused, and that's why it's emitting light.
Lillie	This might be my fault...
Lusamine	Hm?
Lillie	I think Lunala brought it here for me... because I said I wanted the festival to last forever.
Lusamine	It just wanted to make to make you happy, Lillie. I understand that Lunala is known to occasionally summon unknown life-forms from other worlds.
(Lunala cries out)
N	That checks out. Lunala is saying it was the one who brought Solgaleo here.
Lillie	Oh, Lunala... It makes me happy that you wanted to make my wish come true. But if today doesn't end, a new tomorrow can never begin!
(Lunala cries out nervously)
Lillie	We should start by calming you down, Solgaleo. And after that...let's enjoy what little we have left of today!
