Dynamic Punch (Japanese: ばくれつパンチ Exploding Punch), formatted as DynamicPunch prior to Pokémon X and Y, is a damage-dealing Fighting-type move introduced in Generation II. It was TM01 in Generation II.

Effect

Generation II

Dynamic Punch inflicts damage and has a 255/256 (~99.6%) chance of confusing the target.

Generation III onwards

Dynamic Punch now always confuses the target.

Dynamic Punch gains a 20% power boost when used by a Pokémon with Iron Fist.

Dynamic Punch can be used as the second move of a Pokémon Contest combination, with the user gaining 2 bonus appeal points if Focus Energy or Mind Reader was used in the previous turn.

Pokémon UNITE

In Pokémon UNITE, Dynamic Punch is Machamp's first move. It is obtained by evolving into Machoke at level 5 and upgrading Bulk Up into it instead of Submission. The user jumps to target location, briefly stunning enemies hit and dealing damage four times in quick succession to the landing radius. The user’s Atk is increased by 15% and gains bonus movement speed for 6 seconds when using Dynamic Punch.. At level 11, the attack and movement speed bonuses are increased.
