Trivia
- Volo's inclusion was first teased in the Together in an Unknown Land story event. At the end of the event, Rei and Cynthia's Giratina are wary of the ruins they are in, and a Togepi is seen running on the ground behind a pillar.
Origin
Volo's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Togepi is the first Pokémon Volo is seen using in the core series games. Togepi's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.
Gible is a Pokémon Volo uses during his second battle against the player. Gible's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
