The Ginkgo Guild (Japanese: イチョウ商会 Ichō Shōkai, literally Ginkgo Merchant Guild) are an ancient guild of merchants based in the Hisui region. They sell their wares whilst traveling the region.

In the core series games

The Ginkgo Guild operates from their cart outside the Galaxy Hall in Jubilife Village. From here, Ginter sells a variety of rare items that changes frequently, while Tuli sells a set variety of berries and plants.

Several other Ginkgo Guild members can be found across Hisui, though they do not offer any mercantile services. A member named Mani can be found in the basement of Galaxy Hall, where he assigns Request 82, asking the player to find traces of his ancestors' lost village in Avalanche Slopes. Another member, Eshim, can be found in the Coronet Highlands to help set up the Mountain Camp.

Volo is the only Ginkgo Guild member to have a major role within the story. However, rather than selling items in Jubilife Village, he travels across Hisui to learn about mythology. His curiosity often leads him to encounter the player in various regions of Hisui. Cogita frequently chides him for neglecting his merchant duties to explore ruins. During the main story, when the player has no access to Choy's General Store in Jubilife Village, Volo offers Poké Balls and medicine at the Ancient Retreat, and later at the Temple of Sinnoh.

In Onto the Icy Blue, a member of the Ginkgo Guild appears in a flashback when Alec was a child, trading items with his father, before both of them were scared by Alec wearing a Hisuian Zoroark mask.

In Two Hues, a few other members of the guild are seen arriving in Hisui along with Alec on a ship, including Volo.
