Trivia
* In her sync pair story, Iris reveals that she received her Hydreigon from Drayden as a Deino.
* Iris was the first 3★ sync pair to receive the ability to be raised to .
** She received it to coincide with the addition of the Johto Challenge to the Champion Stadium, despite having no connections to Johto.
* All versions of Iris use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers include Bianca, Burgh, Elesa, Caitlin, and Alder.
** Iris also uses special voice-over lines upon winning a battle with Bianca, Burgh, Elesa, or Caitlin in the same team.
* Iris and Naganadel were the first Poison-type sync pair to be available exclusively through a limited scout.
* Before version 2.27.0, Iris (Alt.) was known as Iris (Champion). This was most likely changed to avoid confusion with Serena and Calem's new Neo Champion outfits.

Origin
Iris's design is based on her appearance in Black and White. Iris is Iris's signature Pokémon in the core series games. Haxorus's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Black.

Iris (Alt.)'s design is based on her appearance in B2W2. Hydreigon is Iris's lead Pokémon during the battle against her at the Pokémon League. Hydreigon's Dex entry comes from Pokémon White.

Iris is not seen owning a Naganadel outside this game. Naganadel's Dex entry comes from Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

Description This lively young Trainer's family lives among dragon Pokémon. Despite her youth, her skills in battle have made her a Champion.

Iris (Japanese: アイリス Iris) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. She forms a sync pair with Haxorus. The sync pair is obtained during the events of Chapter 9 of the Main Story. The pair's potential can be upgraded to Masters EX star.png 6★ EX from December 28, 2020, which unlocks Iris's EX Style.

Iris is also available in her Champion attire, partnered alongside Hydreigon. The pair could be obtained through a limited-time sync pair scout and was first made available on March 18, 2021. This pair is also capable of being upgraded to Masters EX star.png 6★ EX since its release.

Iris also appears in her Fall 2022 costume, partnered with Naganadel. This pair could be obtained though a limited-time seasonal sync pair scout and was first made available on October 17, 2022. This pair is also capable of being raised to Masters EX star.png 6★ EX since its release.

Trivia

  • In her sync pair story, Iris reveals that she received her Hydreigon from Drayden as a Deino.
  • Iris was the first 3★ sync pair to receive the ability to be raised to   6★ EX.
  • All versions of Iris use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers include Bianca, Burgh, Elesa, Caitlin, and Alder.
    • Iris also uses special voice-over lines upon winning a battle with Bianca, Burgh, Elesa, or Caitlin in the same team.
  • Iris and Naganadel were the first Poison-type sync pair to be available exclusively through a limited scout.
  • Before version 2.27.0, Iris (Alt.) was known as Iris (Champion). This was most likely changed to avoid confusion with Serena and Calem's new Neo Champion outfits.

Origin

Iris's design is based on her appearance in Pokémon Black and White. Haxorus is Iris's signature Pokémon in the core series games. Haxorus's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Black.

Iris (Alt.)'s design is based on her appearance in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. Hydreigon is Iris's lead Pokémon during the battle against her at the Pokémon League. Hydreigon's Dex entry comes from Pokémon White.

Iris is not seen owning a Naganadel outside this game. Naganadel's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
