Trivia

  • Nate is based on the NPC character from Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, as he mentions liking the Battle Subway and having battled the Subway Bosses before.
    • Nate's sync pair story might be a reference to him as the Battle Subway partner, as Nate asks the player if they can help him in a two-on-two battle, the same way he does in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.

Origin

Nate's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. Nate's Braviary may be based on the Hidden Ability Braviary that can be encountered on Route 4 in Pokémon White 2. As the player's partner in the Battle Subway, Braviary is one of the Pokémon that Nate can use in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. Braviary's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
