List of Pokémon by Sinnoh Pokédex number
This is a list of Pokémon in the order dictated by the Sinnoh regional Pokédex, meaning that the first partner Pokémon from Sinnoh will appear first, followed by Pokémon native to the Sinnoh region.

| Shortcut Sdex |

In Pokémon Diamond and Pearl and their remakes Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, the Sinnoh Pokédex contains 151 Pokémon, though only 150 are required to be seen to complete the Pokédex (Manaphy is not required). The Sinnoh Pokédex also appears as one of the regional Pokédexes in the mobile version of Pokémon HOME, where it can only be filled with Pokémon that originate from Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl; this version of the Pokédex has only 150 Pokémon, as Manaphy is excluded.
In Pokémon Platinum, the Sinnoh Pokédex contains 210 Pokémon; the 59 additional Pokémon are added at the end of the original version's order, so no Pokémon have their Sinnoh Pokédex numbers changed between versions. All 210 Pokémon are required to be seen to complete this version of the Pokédex (including Manaphy). The Platinum expansion of the Sinnoh Pokédex is also the version used in Pokémon Bank.
Changes between versions
Pokémon Platinum
Only in Pokémon Platinum, the Pokédex was expanded to have 210 entries, with the new additions added to the end of the Pokédex.
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, the Sinnoh Pokédex is the same as in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, removing the Pokémon Platinum expansion.
In addition, with the introduction of the Fairy type in Generation VI, Mime Jr., Mr. Mime, Cleffa, Clefairy, Clefable, Azurill, Marill, and Azumarill had their types changed from pure Normal-type (Cleffa, Clefairy, Clefable, and Azurill), pure Water-type (Marill and Azumarill), and pure Psychic-type (Mime Jr. and Mr. Mime) to pure Fairy, Normal/Fairy, Water/Fairy, and Psychic/Fairy respectively.

Trivia
- This is the first regional Pokédex listing to be enlarged.
- This is the only regional Pokédex listing not to include all the new Pokémon introduced in its corresponding generation. The Hisui Pokédex does include all Generation IV Pokémon, however.
- The non-Platinum Sinnoh Pokédex has the same amount of Pokémon as the Kanto Pokédex. It also has the same number of Pokémon not dependant on an external event, as Mew from Kanto and Manaphy from Sinnoh are the only such Pokémon in the respective Pokédex.
- According to the TCG, the model of Pokédex in Sinnoh is the Pokédex HANDY910is.
- The Sinnoh Pokédex was the first regional Pokédex to include ordinary Pokémon (non-Legendary, non-pseudo-legendary, and non-Mythical) after pseudo-legendary Pokémon.
- With the Platinum expansion, it became the first regional Pokédex to include such Pokémon after Legendary Pokémon and Mythical Pokémon.
- This is the only regional Pokédex to not include any Pokémon compatible with the Sun Stone or the Leaf Stone.
- Eevee would later become compatible with the Leaf Stone in Pokémon Sword and Shield, but only the original Sinnoh Pokédex returns in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, which does not include Eevee.
- Excluding the Platinum expansion, this is also the only regional Pokédex to not include any Pokémon compatible with the Fire Stone or the Water Stone.
- This is the first Pokédex not to feature the Sandshrew, Vulpix, Jigglypuff, Oddish, Doduo, Grimer, Voltorb, Koffing, Horsea, Staryu, or Pinsir evolutionary lines.
- Poison is the only type that didn't have a Pokémon added to the Platinum Sinnoh Pokédex. Although the Fairy type wasn't introduced at that point, the expansion added Ralts, Kirlia, Gardevoir, Togepi, Togetic and Togekiss which would later on be retyped Fairy.
