This is a list of Pokémon in the order dictated by the Hoenn regional Pokédex, meaning that the first partner Pokémon from Hoenn will appear first, followed by Pokémon native to the Hoenn region.
The Hoenn Pokédex in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire is an expanded version of the original Hoenn Pokédex from Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, adding nine additional Pokémon (namely Gallade, Probopass, Magnezone, Budew, Roserade, Dusknoir, Chingling, Rhyperior, and Froslass), all of which are evolutionary relatives introduced in Generation IV of Pokémon from the original Hoenn Pokédex. As a result, many Pokémon have their Hoenn Pokédex numbers changed, starting at #032 (Surskit in the original Hoenn Pokédex and Gallade in the expanded Hoenn Pokédex).
The Hoenn Pokédex in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire contains 211 Pokémon, though only 208 are required to be obtained to complete the Pokédex (Rayquaza, Jirachi, and Deoxys are not required; however, Rayquaza and Deoxys are required for National Pokédex completion).
