Description With Bug-type Pokémon as his eternal muse, this Castelia City Gym Leader and accomplished artist lives life at his own pace, keeping an open mind to new discoveries.

Burgh (Japanese: アーティ Arty) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. He forms a sync pair with Leavanny. The sync pair can be obtained through the sync pair scout, starting from June 18, 2020. The pair's potential can be upgraded to 6★ EX from May 6, 2021, which unlocks Burgh's EX Style.

Burgh is also available in his spring attire partnered alongside Togepi. The pair could be obtained through a limited-time seasonal sync pair scout and was first available on April 2, 2021. This pair is also capable of being upgraded 6★ EX from when the pair was first released.

Trivia

  • Prior to version 2.19.0, Burgh (Spring 2021) exclusively used the same lines as his regular counterpart, but ever since that version arrived, they only share lines 2 and 3 in their profiles' numbered voiced samples.

Origin

Burgh's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2. Leavanny is Burgh's signature Pokémon in the core series games. Leavanny's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.

Burgh is not seen to own a Togepi outside this game. Togepi's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire.
