In Taming of the Shroomish. Ash and his friends saved a group of Shroomish from having the abandoned mansion they called home from being destroyed, with the help of Alex, the grandson of the mansion's owner.
A Shroomish was part of Sheridan's cheering squad in Cheer Pressure along with Roselia, Vileplume, and Makuhita. He later assigned it to heal James's Cacnea and Jessie's Seviper with Helping Hand.
Multiple Shroomish evolved into Breloom after Team Rocket angered them in A Shroomish Skirmish.
