Victory Road (Japanese: チャンピオンロード Champion Road) is the final journey one must take before they can face the Elite Four. Unlike previous Victory Roads, this one involves traversing both inside and outside the cave.

Variable scoring

Different tracks are added to the background theme one by one as the player progresses through the badge-check gates, resulting in the complete Victory Road theme once the player arrives at the entrance of the Victory Road cave system.
