Geography

The Great Crater of Paldea is surrounded by a ring of mountains, where wild Garchomp and Magnezone can be found. Nestled in the northwestern mountains near Medali is the Zero Gate, the primary gateway for those wishing to descend into Area Zero, though most people are forbidden from entering. An official school rule forbids any student of the Naranja AcademyS/Uva AcademyV from entering Area Zero due to the aggressive Pokémon that live there and the hazardous geography of the area. After accessing Area Zero once, the player may also access Area Zero by climbing the mountains and dropping through the cloud cover.
