The Ruins of Conflict are where the guardian deity of Melemele Island, Tapu Koko, can be found.
Geography
Like the other ruins of Alola, the Ruins of Conflict consist of a simple entrance area, walkway, and the interior, where the shrine for Tapu Koko is located. Unlike the other ruins, however, the walkway in these ruins does not contain any sort of puzzle, allowing it to be crossed without the need to use Machamp Shove.

Special encounters
Generation VII
In Pokémon Sun and Moon, after the player first becomes Champion, they will visit the Ruins with Lillie during the ending where Tapu Koko will challenge the player to a battle. The player can win against, lose to, catch, or run away from Tapu Koko, and the story will progress regardless of the outcome. Lillie will provide unique dialogue depending on the outcome. If Tapu Koko is not caught, it will respawn on the next visit after the credits roll. If defeated or run from afterward, it will respawn after the player defends their title. Tapu Koko will drop a Tapunium Z following its mandatory battle.
In Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, Tapu Koko will appear here after the player becomes Champion. If defeated or run from, it will respawn after the player defends their title. If Tapu Koko is the first of the four Guardian deities fought, it will drop a Tapunium Z after the battle.
It is coded to never be Shiny, regardless of game version.
