Ultra Forest (Japanese: ウルトラフォレスト Ultra Forest) is the home dimension of Kartana, located several thousand light-years from Alola. It is accessible primarily through Rarity 3 warp holes in Ultra Warp Ride, rarely through Rarity 2 warp holes and very rarely through Rarity 1 warp holes. It only appears in Pokémon Ultra Sun.

Geography

The landscape of this world is that of a large expanding forests, with trees sprouting flowers resembling the world's Ultra Beast, Kartana. The leaves on the floor are rectangular and resemble paper, and the ground appears to be sandy, resembling a Japanese rock garden. At the end of the area is a large rock where Kartana can be fought. Before the final encounter, Kartana slashes a large rock in two before battle. It seems that the world is habitable to humans as well as Pokémon, most likely due to the atmosphere.
Demographics
The population of Ultra Forest is three, including two Ultra Forest Kartenvoys. They specialize in Kartana, which are not contained in Poké Balls.
Special encounters
Pokémon Ultra Sun
Kartana can be encountered and caught here. One Kartana will spawn per visit. Unlike other Ultra Beasts, Kartana will not appear as ??? and will have its normal species name when encountered. The Kartenvoy in the world are forced encounters, which registers Kartana as seen in the Pokédex before this encounter.
