Scarlet Bog (Japanese: 深紅沼 Scarlet Swamp) is an area located in the central region of the Crimson Mirelands of Hisui. It is located between Gapejaw Bog to the west and Bolderoll Slope to the east. The Bogbound Camp can be reached from the southern end, when it is established as part of Request 31: "Setting Up the Bogbound Camp", and the Diamond Settlement can be reached from the northern end.

Pokémon world locations

The Legendary Pokémon Enamorus runs away to here as part of Mission 94: "Incarnate Forces of Hisui", after the other three forces of nature have been caught and their Pokédex entries filled out.

Geography

The Scarlet Bog is a large expanse of muddy pools that sits in the heart of the Crimson Mirelands. The bog itself is a flat, depressed chunk of land that is surrounded by rocky hillsides in all directions, making for a smooth traversal. Unlike other sublocations of the mirelands, the environment of the Scarlet Bog is rather dreadful. The land lacks lively colors, sporting mostly hues of brown and orange. There is a distinct lack of healthy foliage, with the exception of the occasional Sootfoot Root scattered about. Boulders lie the middle of land bridges between mud pools. Ore deposits have also formed in this area. Three of the mud pools have small islands at their center.
