Body Slam is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I.
Effect
Generation I
Body Slam does damage and has a 29.7% chance of paralyzing its opponent. It can't paralyze an opponent that has a Substitute or already has a major status ailment.
Generation II and on
Same as Generation I but with a 30% chance of causing paralysis instead.

Pokémon

Torkoal. It extends its arms when it falls.
- Used by Ash's Torkoal from Pearls Are a Spoink's Best Friend to ???.
Wigglytuff. It inflates to two times its size, propels into the air, then crashes into its opponent.
- Used by Harley's Wigglytuff from Thinning the Hoard! to ???.
