JacobCrystal is an avid player of the main Pokémon and Pokémon Ranger games. He has been playing since he received his first Blue game in 1999 has completed the Pokédex in Generations II-IV and both Ranger Browsers. His favorite game is Crystal, and his favorite Pokémon is Gallade.

His main area of emphasis is the Pokémon legends, especially those surrounding the Unown and Regigigas. His Trainer sprite is a Ruin Maniac.

He is best known for his Gym challenges. He has created a Gym for each Pokémon type, with teams of 6 EVed and nature-bred Pokémon for each Gym. He also has a modest collection of Event Pokémon.
