The Never-Melt Ice (Japanese: とけないこおり Never-Melting Ice), formatted NeverMeltIce prior to Generation VI, is a type of held item introduced in Generation II that boosts the power of Ice-type moves.

Boosts the power of the holder's Ice-type moves by 20%.

Other uses

In Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, if held by a nicknamed Regice in the party, along with Regirock and Registeel, allows to spawn Regigigas in Island Cave, except at night or before defeating/catching GroudonOR/KyogreAS.

In Climbing the Tower of Success!, a piece of Never-Melt Ice was mentioned as one of the search items for the Wishing Bell Festival scavenger hunt. However, the boy looking for it only found regular ice.
