Vigoroth (Japanese: ヤルキモノ Yarukimono) is a Template:Type2 Pokémon.
It evolves from Slakoth starting at level 18, and evolves into Slaking starting at level 36.
Biology
Physiology
Vigoroth is a white, sloth-like Pokémon, with a teardrop-shaped tuft of red fur on its forehead. It has stubby, barely noticeable ears, two small, triangular visible teeth in each jaw, and large eyes encircled by brown rings. The two stripes on its back and maw are also brown in coloration. It arms are fairly long in proportion to its body, and its hands and feet are equipped with two sharp black claws. The underside of its hands and feet have circular red coloration, its rear also having a baboon-like patch of red. The fur on its chest, tail, and sides of its maw are shaggy.

Behavior
Vigoroth cannot keep still because of its extremely fast heartbeat. This causes much aggression and speed, unlike the Pokémon that evolves into it, Slakoth.
Habitat
Vigoroth live in forests. It appears to also be drawn towards colder climates as the Mystery Dungeon series places it in areas covered in ice.

Like in the games, a Vigoroth debuts in VS. Nuzleaf under the possession of the Petalburg Gym Leader Norman. who uses it as one of his most valued fighters. Its battling method mainly makes usage of its adroit speed, with which it often shoots the enemy's attacks back at them.

Vigoroth is simply incapable of remaining still. Even when it tries to sleep, the blood in its veins grows agitated, compelling this Pokémon to run wild throughout the jungle before it can settle down.

Name origin
