Slash (Japanese: きりさく Slash) is a damage-dealing Normal-type move introduced in Generation I.

Effect

Slash deals damage and has an increased critical hit ratio. If used by a Pokémon with Sharpness, its power is increased by 50%.

Slash can be used as the second move of a Pokémon Contest combination, with the user gaining 3 bonus appeal points if Scratch or Swords Dance was used in the previous turn.

Pokémon UNITE

In Pokémon UNITE, Slash is Absol and Zeraora's second move.

Absol starts with the move. The user quickly slashes in front of them, damaging any Pokémon in the slash. At level 7 it's replaced by either Psycho Cut or Sucker Punch.

Zeraora starts with the move. The user charges toward an enemy and attacks them with multiple swipes, ending with an interrupt that knocks the enemy into the air. At level 8 it's replaced by either Discharge or Wild Charge.
