Crush Claw (Japanese: ブレイククロー Break Claw) is a damage-dealing Normal-type move introduced in Generation III. Prior to Generation IV, it was the signature move of Zangoose, but other Pokémon could still inherit it via breeding.

Effect

Crush Claw inflicts damage and has a 50% chance of lowering the target's Defense stat by one stage.

Crush Claw can be used as the second move of a Pokémon Contest combination, with the user gaining 1 bonus appeal point if Swords Dance was used in the previous turn.
