Obstagoon (Japanese: タチフサグマ Tachifusaguma) is a dual-type Dark/Normal Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII.
It evolves from Galarian Linoone when leveled up at night starting at level 35. It is the final form of Galarian Zigzagoon.
Biology
Obstagoon is a humanoid, mammalian Pokémon that resembles a badger. Its fur is mostly black and white with grey tufts covering its ankles, forearms, and back. The coloration around its body gives it the appearance of a vest. It has a pink tongue that is always exposed and has red scleroses.
It is said that Obstagoon's evolution is the result of the Galarian Linoone's survival instinct being honed from competition and harsh conditions of the Galar region. While combative to the extreme, it won't attack often as it prefers taunting an opponent into attacking it. When that happens it will take a threating pose posture by crossing it arms and then releasing a staggering voice that would cause any opponent to flinch. This is known as Obstruct. By using the move, it skillfully shows opponent off guard before countering with its sharp claws[1]. Obstagoon are known to duel against Pangoro.
Obstagoon is the only known Pokémon capable of using Obstruct.
