Effect

Generation I

When used from the Bag on a Pokémon, it fully restores a Pokémon's HP and cures the Pokémon of all non-volatile status conditions (poison, paralysis, sleep, burn, freeze).

In Pokémon Yellow, it also increases friendship when used on the player's Pikachu.

Generation II onward

When used in a battle, Full Restore now also cures confusion.

In the Generation II games, an oversight causes the item to not cure a Pokémon of Nightmare (even after waking up from sleep) when used by an opponent in battle.

Wonder Launcher

The Full Restore appears as a Wonder Launcher item. It costs 13 points to use.
