Attract (Japanese: メロメロ Attract) is a non-damaging Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation II.

Effect

If the target is the opposite gender of the Pokémon who launched the move, the target becomes infatuated. Pokémon of the same gender are not affected, along with genderless ones.

If used by Mew or Cryogonal, the move will always fail, because they are genderless.
