Trivia
- Its Pokédex entry states that it eats its prey using its long tongue. Dispite this, it is unable to learn Lick.
Origin
Gamagaru appears to be a combination of a Surinam toad tadpole and a loudspeaker. The Surinam Toad is an aquatic amphibian whose backs are covered in pockets that hold its eggs, which may have inspired Gamagaru's spherical "speakers" on its body. Its Pokédex entry also mentions the fact that it creates vibrations underwater, also like the Surinam.
